Wander Guard

Wander Guard is an research project focused on enhancing the safety and security of the solo travellers. Recognising the emotional aspects of traveling alone, and also an uncertainty and the need for companionship, this project aims to provide reliable, real-time support for those exploring the world independently. The project's core involves extensive data collection and analysis to understand the unique challenges faced by solo travellers and also how to provide solutions to them. This research-driven approach ends in the development of a user-friendly mobile application designed in Figma with a clean and an minimalistic look to address all the issues of the users(i.e. solo travellers)without addition of the the overwhelming and un-useful features . "Wander Guard" prioritizes safety by offering features such as real-time location sharing, emergency contact access, and up-to-date travel advisories. The app's design philosophy centre is on simplicity and ease of use, ensuring that solo travellers can quickly access critical information and assistance whenever needed.
