As our daily means of transportation, driving safety has always been the focus of social attention. There is an unavoidable visual blind area in the design of the car itself, which is also one of the main causes of traffic accidents. Compared with new cars, the safety of old cars is relatively low, but there are few related designs that can improve this problem. This project uses questionnaires to understand drivers' driving habits and pedestrians' safety awareness. Using Arduino and some sensors, a device which can visualize the blind area of A-pillar is designed. Through collaborative design, low-fidelity model and high-fidelity model production and user inspection, the "third eye" blind area detection device is finally made. The purpose of improving the driving safety of old cars is achieved.
