Procrastination is a common phenomenon that influences more and more college students nowadays. Overcoming this issue is an interesting research subject in the field of interactive media. This wearable time warning badge, which is connected to Google Calendar, can remind people to do their daily tasks in advance. With different kinds of lights, sound and vibrations, there are five warning signals to show people how soon the task will happen. If the person doesn’t finish the task on time, and this happens more than three times in the space of a week, the data will be stored in their Google Calendar account and the device will deactivate until the beginning of the following week. This project aims at using tangible interaction and gamification elements in the management of self-control and enabling users to fight against procrastination.
