Keep In-Touch


The project concentrates on exploring how trends in digital technologies and conventional wearable items reveal the ways personal items help with intimate communication. A small pair of wearable devices, entitled 'Keep In-Touch', that take into consideration on aspects of playfulness and that provide subtle psychological experience and instinctive association was built for the DAWN 2012 exhibition at the University of Limerick. As a supplement to today main telecommunication equipments, this pair of wearable devices enable users to interact intimately via tactile sense from a long distance, offering an instant, flexible, and playful way to transmit emotions. The wearable device featuring a light-weighted and fashionable appearance is designed for long distance lovers, but also suitable for parents and children, good friends and anyone who has a close relationship.
